You’ll be joining a tight-knit and passionate tech team made up of Liv (Head of Customer Integrations / Senior Developer), Anton (Lead Engineer), Timm (Part-time Student Developer), and Jason our CTO – all hands-on and working across the stack.

We’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of our customer dashboard and native app written in next.js and react native.

In the near future, your main focus will be hands-on development and collaborating closely with the core team to improve and expand our product with a strong focus on UX.

We’re looking for not only someone that can code but also someone who wants to make the UX great again! You don’t have to be a specialist in UX, but you have to have an opinion and care about it!

As this is a growing early stage startup the possibility of this role growing into a role with leadership is possible.

● Take full ownership of ComplyPay’s frontend (Next.js + React Native).

● Drive the development of beautiful, intuitive, and reliable UI experiences for our dashboard and mobile app.

● Collaborate with backend engineers and product stakeholders to design, prototype, and implement new features.

● Work closely with the team to gather customer feedback and continuously improve UX.

● Uphold a high standard of code quality and best practices (accessibility, responsiveness, testing).

● Contribute to design discussions, and help shape the future of the frontend team.

Requirements

● Fluent in English, written and spoken.

● 5+ years of experience in frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks.

● At least 2 years working in a senior position

● Proven experience working with React and/or React Native in production.

● A strong eye for design and detail – you care deeply about delivering great UX.

● Familiarity with backend communication via APIs - REST

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and autonomy.

● Experience working closely with product teams, designers, or directly with customers.

● Experience working with fintech or regulated environments.

● Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD or at least Miro.

(Optional) Previous experience mentoring others or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
