Role Overview

This is a key role - particularly as we scale to 100s of stores!

In this role, you will own;

  • Inventory Working Capital Optimization: Own Inventory Levels at the Main Warehouse and Stores and ensure we have the right balance of stock on approved range aiming at minimal out of stock to avoid loss of sales and avoiding overstocking to reduce constraints on working capital. The 2 key metrics here will be OOS % and total Inventory Days at the warehouse and at the Stores.
  • Own Central & Stores Replenishment Process: Oversight the replenishment team, determine quantities to be replenished, approve POs on Odoo, ensure correct quantities and COGS, follow up on deliveries with suppliers.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Ensure we have sufficient stocks on key deals during campaigns and promotions.
  • Range Improvement: Action customer and stores feedback on frequently requested items.
  • Inbound Scheduling: Coordinate warehouse inbounds for multiple suppliers to ensure efficient use of warehouse space and resources.
  • Weekly Payment Projections: - Share a weekly supplier payment plan with internal stakeholders.
  • Team Development: Mentoring and supporting inventory associates, fostering a results-oriented, high-performing team culture.

Requirements for this role..

  1. Minimum 4 years work experience (preference for fast paced environment)
  2. Very strong on analytics / data / insights from data (esp excel, google sheets, & ideally more advanced BI)
  3. Experience managing a small team (nice to have)
  4. Proven track record of delivering on goals & winning (in work & outside)
